Tipping the Velvet Seagull

So this is my first ever attempt at doing an instrumental song!!

I thought it may be easier, but it was not!!

It also did not help that the computer froze on me so I had to try and tweak it with no frame by frame shots!!

It was off by 0.27 seconds when I first uploaded it, then I changed it the next day and now I think it runs well.

The music is by Tori Amos. I have never really listened to her in the past.

I needed a new artist so did a search on google for feamle singers, came up with a list and then chose names off that. Then I searched limewire and downloaded a load of songs from artists I know I have never really listened to.

When I heard this song I new that it was the ideal song for the 3 storylines of Nan.

There is the happy start with Kitty, then the darker side of Diane but the light hope of Zena, then to the saving angle of Flo!

The seagull is just a lovely shot and thought I could make it that the seagull is taking us on a journey with Nan and then ending up with her being with the right person, Flo!!

Over all I like it and it seems to be getting good views at Youtube.

It grows on me each time I watch it.

No More Banned Videos For Me

Well it is official I now have my own website that I control the content on!!! Yeah fucking Yeah.

The Frank Skinner Show - Rachael Stirling



So I thought I would include this video of Rachel Stirling the cute actress, daughter of Dame Diana Rigg, who played Nan in Tipping the Velvet.

She is funny as all hell and I have read some interviews she has done and she swears like a sailor. If you have been reading any of my blogs you will see that I have a love of curse words. So that just makes her even more appealing.

I had Sally Hawkins on my desktop, but now she has been replaced by Ms Stirling.

I'm off to Netflix to see if I can find anything of hers to watch.

Tipping The Velvet


Ok so a couple of people on FOCFUC said they wanted a Flo and Nan video.

They are not the hottest couple in the movie!! In fact dear Flo is down right homely!!

But you know always up for a challange. So I thought I had the perfect song, but once I sat infront of the computer it did not come together.

Then today I was out running some errands and I had this song by Sarah Bettens on my I-Pod playing in the car... and then it just kind of came to me in my head.

So as soon as I got home I hit the computer and came up with this.

I actually like it even though I don't think this couple has a lot to offer. I guess the lack of hot love scenes. But hey I've been banned for that, so figured I would cool it down for a couple of videos!!

But overall I like it.

The only problem was my computer went fritzy and I have not worked out yet how I can get back into the editor software again so that I can see each frame. Instead it just shows me it all lumped together. And there are a couple of shots that I would have liked to crop a little clearner, but damn computer said NO!!

Tipping The Velvet "Back In Your Arms"

Youtubed banned this again for the 3rd time!! So am reblogging it from Google incase they ban me from Youtube!! So this is my 1st attempt at doing a tipping video. I was unsure how I would do as not really into the characters as much as Sue and Maude. But when I saw the love scenes I knew I could do something kind of raunchy with them and the wonderful music of Tanita Tikaram. This got banned on youtube twice and is the reason I am now on google!! It also between the 2 versions I put up had over 3000 views in about a week 1/2. Until some narrow minded prick decided to yank it!! So enjoy but be warned little raunchy
